     Ken Saxon

Ken Saxon has spent more than a decade as a nonprofit Board leader, facilitator and coach. Following a successful business career as an entrepreneur, he felt called to put his leadership and management skills to work in the nonprofit sector. It was there that he met and worked with many nonprofit leaders – wonderful people, some of whom were experiencing stress, burnout and leadership crises. He found, to his frustration, that there was little investment being made in nurturing these critical leaders in their professional and personal lives. As a Courage to Lead facilitator, Ken hopes to build support and community around such leaders, and to help nurture them so they can do their best work and live their best lives.

Ken has facilitated groups for more than 15 years, and he was prepared to facilitate this particular approachby the Center for Courage & Renewal. Ken is a graduate of Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Princeton University.

  Kim Stokely

Kim Stokely has spent the last 20 years as a nonprofit leader coaching emerging nonprofits and community groups as they’ve formed, developed, and taken action. She is founder and Executive Director of Earthwater (formerly Adopt-A-Watershed), a nonprofit operating since 1988. In her work, Kim has personally experienced the challenges of being a nonprofit leader. She has turned her work toward nurturing other nonprofit leaders in their professional and personal lives so that they can bring the gifts of leadership to whole-hearted service for others and the world. As a Courage to Lead facilitator, Kim hopes to provide leaders with the opportunity to renew their spirits, reconnecting who they are with what they do.

Kim has facilitated a variety of workshops and retreats for leaders for more than 20 years. She is certified as a Courage to Lead facilitator, and is presently working toward certification in corporate
and life coaching. Kim is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz and holds a teaching credential from California State University, Chico.
